Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a workshop with Bedia Pottery (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
1. Clay Provision
Participants will be provided with 400 grams of clay included in the workshop fee. This amount is sufficient for creating small to medium-sized pottery items.
2. Additional Clay and Items
Any additional clay required beyond the initial 400 grams will be chargeable at the studio’s current rates. Preparation of additional items will cost AED 130 per item, which includes clay, tools, and firing.
3. Workshop Duration
Each workshop session lasts for 1.5 hours. Participants are encouraged to arrive on time to make the most of their session.
4. Cancellation Policy
Once the payment is received, we are unable to issue any refunds.
For single workshops, rescheduling is possible depending on the next available slots. Alternatively, you may request a credit voucher from the studio, valid for 6 months, which can be used for any future booking.
For events or group bookings, once the payment is made, the slot is considered confirmed and blocked. No refunds will be provided. Rescheduling is only possible based on availability and must be coordinated in advance.
5. Rescheduling
Participants may request to reschedule their workshop session with at least 7 days’ notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability based on the studio’s schedule.
For short-notice changes (less than 7 days), please note that rescheduling is not guaranteed but may be considered depending on available slots or by issuing a 6-month credit voucher.
6. Specific Design Requests
If participants have any specific designs in mind that may require advanced techniques, a separate day will need to be arranged. All our workshops are tailored for beginners, and teaching advanced-level techniques requires special attention and time, making it difficult to incorporate into regular workshops.
7. Studio Rights & Unforeseen Circumstances
Bedia Pottery Studio reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify workshop sessions, policies, or terms and conditions at its discretion due to operational requirements, internal maintenance, safety considerations, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the studio will offer appropriate alternatives, rescheduling options, or credit vouchers where applicable to reasonably resolve the situation.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the workshop, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
Pick Up Policy
- Pick Up: Participants are responsible for picking up their finished pottery pieces within the provided time period of two months from the date of the workshop.
- Expiration: If pottery pieces are not picked up within the two-month period, Bedia Pottery reserves the right to discard the pieces. The studio will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred after this time.
