Beginner-Friendly Workshop – Same Process, Different Finishing Options!

In our workshop, you’ll learn how to shape and create using clay. The hands-on process is the same for both types, but the way your piece is finished depends on the clay you choose.

 

Air-Dry Clay

  • No kiln needed – take your creation home the same day!
  • Ideal for simple, decorative pieces
  • Paint it later at home with an acrylic paint set
  • We’ll pack your piece carefully and send it with a free acrylic paint set
  • Great for those who want a quick and creative experience!

Terracotta Clay

  • Natural reddish clay, kiln-fired and glazed
  • Perfect for functional items like cups, plates, and bowls
  • Food-safe with a durable finish
  • We glaze and fire your piece-no need to return for painting
  • Ready for pick up in 1–2 weeks

Ceramic Clay

  • This clay is kiln-fired to make your piece strong and long-lasting.
  • Perfect for functional items like cups, plates, and bowls
  • Includes bisque firing and glaze firing for a glossy, food-safe finish
  • You’ll leave your piece with us – we’ll notify you when it’s ready for pickup (about 4–5 weeks)
  • Best for those who want a polished, professional result!

Clay Type

1. Clay Provision Participants will be provided with 400 grams of clay included in the workshop fee. This amount is sufficient for creating small to medium-sized pottery items.


2. Additional Clay and Items Any additional clay required beyond the initial 400 grams will be chargeable at the studio's current rates. Preparation of additional items will cost AED 130 per item, which includes clay, tools, and firing.


3. Workshop Duration Each workshop session lasts for 1.5 hours. Participants are encouraged to arrive on time to make the most of their session.


4. Cancellation Policy Once the payment is received, we are unable to issue any refunds.
For single workshops, rescheduling is possible depending on the next available slots. Alternatively, you may request a credit voucher from the studio, valid for 6 months, which can be used for any future booking.
For events or group bookings, once the payment is made, the slot is considered confirmed and blocked. No refunds will be provided. Rescheduling is only possible based on availability and must be coordinated in advance.


5. Rescheduling Participants may request to reschedule their workshop session with at least 7 days’ notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability based on the studio’s schedule.
For short-notice changes (less than 7 days), please note that rescheduling is not guaranteed but may be considered depending on available slots or by issuing a 6-month credit voucher.


6. Specific Design Requests If participants have any specific designs in mind that may require advanced techniques, a separate day will need to be arranged. All our workshops are tailored for beginners, and teaching advanced-level techniques requires special attention and time, making it difficult to incorporate into regular workshops.


7. Acceptance of Terms By registering for the workshop, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
